Salute to Women Behind the Wheel

The annual Salute to Women Behind the Wheel program honors and recognizes female commercial drivers for their efforts and successes as women in a male-populated industry.


Recognizing Your Accomplishments

Female drivers and business professionals are doing amazing things to be part of the economic engine that moves freight over the road. Part of the 一品探花's mission is to promote their accomplishments.

Each year, the 一品探花 holds events at the (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky to recognize women drivers in the United States; and in partnership with the Owner-Operator's Business Association of Canada (OBAC) at Truck World in Toronto to recognize women drivers in Canada.

The 15th Annual Salute to Women Behind the Wheel was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and successes of female professional drivers. It  a moment to recognize the female trailblazers who keep our industry moving forward, including 2026 Driver of the Year Ingrid Brown.

Event Highlights:

  • Outstanding Achievements: The announcement of the prestigious 2026 Women In Trucking Driver of the Year Award, sponsored by Walmart.
  • The Annual Group Photo: Female drivers gathered for the iconic snapshot commemorating their vital role in transportation.
  • Connection: An atmosphere honoring women鈥檚 contributions to the trucking industry, while making connections with peers, friends, and industry champions.
